BECOME A MEMBER of the Latvian Jazz Society!
The Latvian Jazz Society invites every jazz musician (person or institution) to join - jazz musicians, composers, music groups, associations or orchestras, cultural venues, concert halls, music publishers and media, as well as other institutions related to jazz and improvised music who want to participate. In achieving the goals of the Society through its activity or support.
You can JOIN the association by submitting a free-form written APPLICATION (at the top of this page).RIGHTS and OBLIGATIONS of members:
- to receive information about the activities of the Association, including getting acquainted with the protocols, decisions and orders of all institutions of the Society;
- participate in all events organized by the Society, submit proposals on the Society's activities and its improvement, defend one's opinion;
- propose amendments and additions to the Society's statutes;
- to vote at the general meeting of the Society on matters under consideration;
- submit proposals to consider issues to the board and the general meeting of the Society;
- receive services that the Society provides to its members;
- withdraw from the Society by submitting a written notice to the board;
- comply with the Society's Statutes and comply with the decisions of the general meeting of members and the board;
- participate in general meetings of members;
- promote the implementation of the goals and tasks of the Society;
- participate in the promotion of the Society's goals and activities, etc.
